Providers

Providers are represented by the creators and distributors of spatial information. In the context of INSPIRE, this target group can be divided into two subgroups: ## Obliged persons Obliged persons are providers of spatial information as defined under the NIPI Act ([§ 3 of the NIPI Act](https://www.slov-lex.sk/pravne-predpisy/SK/ZZ/2010/3/20160501#paragraf-3)): * a central government body, a local government body, a higher territorial unit, and [in relation to self-government competence](https://www.slov-lex.sk/pravne-predpisy/SK/ZZ/2010/3/20160501#poznamky.poznamka-1a) a municipality (hereinafter referred to as "public administration authority"); * a legal person established by law and a legal person founded or established by a public authority [under a special regulation](https://www.slov-lex.sk/pravne-predpisy/SK/ZZ/2010/3/20160501#poznamky.poznamka-3) which performs public tasks and a state enterprise; * a natural person - entrepreneur and a legal person who performs tasks on the basis of a contract with the obliged persons in the previous two points.
