EU
The following organisational actors play a key role in the process of building, operating and developing INSPIRE at European level:
## INSPIRE Committee (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE) Committee)
The regulatory nature of the INSPIRE Implementing Rules requires the Commission to present them to the Regulatory Committee of Member States' representatives, also called the INSPIRE Committee.
At INSPIRE Committee level, discussions and votes related to legally binding legislation are ongoing.

## INSPIRE MIG (Maintenance and implementation group)
[INSPIRE MIG](https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/inspire-maintenance-and-implementation/46) is a strategic advisory body to the INSPIRE Committee, consisting of representatives of the EU Member States and [EFTA countries](https://sk.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eur%C3%B3pske_zdru%C5%BEenie_vo%C4%BEn%C3%A9ho_obchodu) to ensure the identification, prioritisation and addressing of tasks arising from the implementation and operation of INSPIRE. This mission will be carried out in the field of implementation and possible revision of related legislative and technical documentation as well as in the field of technologies, standards, methods, coherence between the different INSPIRE components and related communication measures. The role of the represented countries and the European Commission representatives is to ensure the collection and processing of ideas for the MIG from the Member State level, including the provision of information on MIG activities back to the national level. The Slovak Republic is represented in the MIG by [SK MIG representation](https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/MIG-P-Representatives). A Maintenance and Implementation Work Programme (MIWP) is being developed within the MIG, which defines a list of areas requiring space for discussion and implementation support. Latest [INSPIRE MIWP is defined for the period 2021-2024](https://wikis.ec.europa.eu/display/InspireMIG/INSPIRE+work+programme+2021-24).

## INSPIRE MIG -T
The MIG is supported by one permanent sub-group focusing on technical aspects (MIG-T) as well as several temporary sub-groups focusing on specific activities defined in the MIWP. The MIG is complemented by a group of stakeholder experts. The experts in this group will be called upon when MIG sub-groups are formed to address specific implementation or maintenance issues, but will also provide an opportunity to reach out to experts who are involved or interested in specific aspects of INSPIRE implementation or maintenance. Member States (in the case of the SK through the SK MIG representation) may nominate members of the individual working groups participating in the activities from experts nominated in [Pool of Experts](http://inspire.jrc.ec.europa.eu/index.cfm/pageid/5160/list/experts). If you are interested in participating in MIG-T activities and subgroups, you can contact [SK MIG-T representation,](https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/MIG-T-Representatives) or [the NIPI data office](https://inspire.stage.geocloud.sk/kontakty).
